Six-lane road between Dankuni, Panagarh

From Dankuni to Panagarh, the 132-km stretch of NH-2 will be a six-lane super highway with complete elimination of blackspots, notable victims of which include the Trinamool MP and youth wing president Abhisek Banerjee and famous folk singer Kalika Prasad Bhattacharyya. Banerjee had been seriously injured while Bhattacharyya had succumbed to his injuries after meeting with road accidents.
