WB to implement poor quota in edu institutes

The Bengal government is set to introduce up to 10% reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS) in state colleges and universities from the current academic session. The move is a follow-up of a state cabinet decision in this regard on July 2, 2019 that could not be implemented last year due to procedural delays.
