Kol: Parents laud govt’s circular on school bus

Parents welcomed the school education department’s circular to 26 prominent institutes in the city, asking them to make sure the students travelled to and from school by either school buses or pooled vehicles and not in private cars. Though the move is mainly aimed at easing snarls in front of schools in the opening and closing hours and cutting down on pollution generated by fumes from hundreds of cars, many of the guardians said if the rule was implemented, it would also solve a lot of problems they faced dropping off and picking up kids.
