Kolkata: ATMs likely to stay shut till Sat

The nationwide strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) on January 31 and February 1 will not only affect banking operations but also ATM services. With month-end salary credits expected in next two days, ATM shutdown is likely to inconvenience citizens who might fail to withdraw money on Friday and, especially on Saturday, the first day of next month.
