Not Covid victims, says hospital after row

A video, purportedly showing 14 bodies being offloaded from a KMC truck at the Garia crematorium, sparked neighbourhood protests on Wednesday, prompting a state-run hospital to deny that the deceased were Covid-19 victims and lodge a police complaint on Thursday against “the fake subject of the video”.
