Over 4kg gold seized along Indo-Bangla border

The South Bengal Frontier of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday seized over four kilograms of gold being smuggled across the Indo-Bangladesh border near Swarupnagar in North 24-Parganas. The gold, found inside the tyre of a motorcycle, was valued at over Rs 2 crore. A smuggler was also apprehended and handed over to customs officials in Ghojadanga along with the gold.
