Pvt hosps to slash PPE price after govt nudge

A day after the state prodded private hospitals to rationalize the cost of Covid treatment, the latter have started exploring the possibility of reducing PPE charges by altering the use pattern. At least three of them have launched a PPE ‘consumption review’ to ensure that the minimum number is used. They have also decided to put up boards to display the number of vacant Covid beds soon.
