WB: Mother-daughter duo charred to death

A 70-year-old bedridden woman and her sick 43-year-old daughter were charred to death inside their home after a fire broke out on the first floor of a two-storeyed dilapidated building at Banamali Naskar Road in Behala on Saturday afternoon. Incidentally, the elderly woman’s husband had died a few years ago and his son died last year of cancer.
