West Bengal Covid-19 toll hits a high of 36

Bengal recorded the highest number of Covid deaths on a single day on Sunday with the toll clocking 36 in the past 24 hours. With this, the total toll has climbed up to 1,112. The highest number of deaths recorded on a day so far had been 27. The number of fresh cases was also the highest so far at 2,278, taking the total number of Covid cases in the state to 42,487.
