Kolkata: Kalighat Bridge height barrier damaged

Traffic came to a halt on Kalighat Bridge around 7.30pm on Thursday when a bus hit the newly constructed height barrier. The KMDA officials put up height barriers on both sides of the bride in the early hours of Thursday. The 45-year-old bridge connects Alipore with Kalighat over Tolly’s Nullah.
