Kolkata: KMDA to float tenders for new Circular Canal bridge

The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) has planned to set up a new bridge over Circular Canal, moving parallel to the RG Kar bridge that would have a ramp to lead vehicles towards Chitpore or Kolkata station. The authorities have prepared the design of the proposed bridge and plan to float tenders soon.
