Kolkata raises toast with pricey whiskies, wines

With the year-end party spirit spilling over to the New Year, Kolkatans said cheers to 2020 by splurging on more expensive liquor. Rather than low-end whisky or rum, tipplers have chosen to raise a toast with Scotch, premium whisky and wine across the city’s watering holes that have remained chock-a-block since December 31.
