WB leans on schools for buses to ease jams

Schools in the city had been asked to introduce buses to ferry students to and from homes to decongest roads and reduce pollution, state chief secretary Rajiva Sinha stated in an affidavit to the NGT in relation to a case on the city’s degrading air quality filed by green crusader Subhas Datta.
