Eastern Railway plans to mark women's day occasion

People normally take sports cars out for a spin. Surachi Kumari and Anupriya Kumari decided to do the same with a 132-tonne electric locomotive on Wednesday, soon after it rolled out of the Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW). This was the 400th locomotive built by CLW in 2019-20 and the two women were entrusted with driving it as part of International Women’s Week celebrations.
