Eastern Rly takes to paint & brush for awareness

All coaches meant only for women in suburban trains of the Howrah division of Eastern Railway (ER) will soon start looking brighter, thanks to an effort made at the carshed. ER engaged art students to use interiors of the coaches as canvasses to create various themes. While some painted sceneries, others recreated iconic structures like the Howrah Bridge. In the end, the three coaches they worked on were resplendent with splashes of colour.
