Kol: In 3 mnths, onion goes from Rs 100 to Rs 20

The price of onions, which had crossed the hundred-rupee-per-kilo mark at several markets in the city last December, bringing tears in many middle-class families, has crashed to a low of Rs 20 per kilo in the last couple of days, restoring the smiles ahead of the twin festivals of Doljatra/Holi.
