Kolkata: 2020 sees the driest February

Despite several spells of light drizzles, this February turned out to be the driest in Kolkata in several years with the rain count sliding 85% below normal. Gangetic West Bengal, too, received lowerthan-normal rain with the deficiency ranging between 31% and 100% in the districts.
