Kolkata: Cops take two women to quarantine

The Bengal government on Friday invoked the provisions of the 123-year-old Epidemic Diseases Act for the first time in Kolkata by forcibly shifting two women who recently returned from abroad — one of them a teenager — from a residential complex in Ballygunge to a quarantine centre in New Town.
