Kolkata: ‘Ex-cop’ smashes aunt’s head with hammer

A man in his 40s — a former cop according to family members — was arrested for allegedly smashing his aunt’s head with a hammer at their Behala home on Thursday night. Namita Dutta, 65, was taken to a private hospital where she died in the early hours of Friday.
