Amphan ravages mangroves in Sunderbans

Vast swathes of mangroves forest — spanning over an area of about 1,600 square kilometres — in the Indian Sunderbans have been ravaged by Cyclone Amphan that had struck the state last Wednesday, as per an initial estimate of the state forest department.
