Stuck students can take CISCE from where they are

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has allowed ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) candidates to take the remaining exams from any state, city or district they are in at present. The requests for a change in the examination centres, however, have to be formally routed through their schools within June 7.
