Cops slap non-bailable charges for assault on doc

A day after a gynaecologist was assaulted at CMRI Hospital following the death of a young woman after childbrith, the Alipore police has registered an FIR on Friday against the accused under non-bailable sections to treat the assault as a cognizable offence.
