Kol’s dream takes shape 33 metres below the river

Laying of tracks for the East-West Metro corridor along the 520m tunnel has been going on in full swing 33m below the Hooghly riverbed. The underwater tunnel is the prime attraction of the 3.8km Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section.
