Bengal: Operators seek 200% hike in auto fares

Hopping into and out of autos for a quick commute may burn a hole in the pocket from next week. Though the state government hasn’t given its nod, sources said autos are likely to hike the fare by 100%-200% or even more to make up for the loss of revenue owing to social distancing norms.
