Bengal recommends arthritis drug to fight Covid

Bengal government’s health treatment protocol has recommended to re-purpose Tocilizumab, a drug traditionally used in the treatment of patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, to treat severe Covid cases. The protocol spells out the specific conditions, when this medicine can be administered as well as the dosage.
