Citizens run from pillar to post for water

Left with no water at home since Thursday because of a power cut, Samanta Dhar, a teacher who lives in Azadgarh, roamed the entire length of NSC Bose Road in Tollygunge in search of 20-litre jars of packaged drinking water. But shops have run out of packaged drinking water due to a water crisis that has hit large areas of Tollygunge due snapped power supply lines.
