
For the first time in 41 days, a semblance of normalcy returned in sections of south Kolkata on Monday with more cars hitting the streets. It was the first day of Lockdown 3.0 when restrictions were eased, allowing select offices and shops to function with reduced manpower. However, roads in north and central Kolkata, where only isolated pockets remain outside containment zones, were largely deserted.
