Kol's focus shifts from Covid to cyclone Amphan

At the first hint of overcast skies, police on Tuesday hit the streets and urged people to stay at home on Wednesday when cyclone Amphan is likely to blow over the city and trigger heavy downpour. With their resources stretched battling Covid-19, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and Kolkata Police on Tuesday held several meetings to tackle the impending crisis.
