Normalcy returning at Kolkata and Haldia ports

In the morning, SPMPT chairman Vinit Kumar visited the Kolkata Dock System (KDS) while the Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) was inspected by the deputy chairman. The first ship, post Cyclone Amphan, departed KDS around 12.30 pm. Blocked roads in Kolkata in the aftermath of the cyclone posed a hindrance to the movement of trucks towards the port.
