CU colleges meet merit list deadline

Most colleges under Calcutta University have been able to meet the deadline of August 28 — the last date to publish the merit list. Some of the colleges, including Lady Brabourne College, waited till Thursday in order to accommodate most of the candidates, whose marks have been increased after review, before publishing the merit order. Colleges, who have already released their provisional merit list, will initiate the admission process from next week.
