Joka Metro bidding overcomes Covid uncertainty

A contract was awarded in a record time on Monday for a major part of the Joka-Esplanade Metro project, on which many have lost hope because of the inordinate delay caused by a series of land acquisition issues, collapse of Majerhat Bridge and Covid uncertainty.
