Lalbazar focuses on curbing petty crime on streets

The city streets — especially the bylanes — have been relatively deserted in the early mornings and after dusk due to the Covid pandemic. But, as Kolkata Police commissioner Anuj Sharma said, that cannot become an excuse to allow petty crimes to continue. Sharma has asked all police stations to ensure they carry out regular anti-crime drills.
