Photographer arrested in Kolkata for hoax blast call

The special task force of Kolkata Police has arrested a freelance photographer residing at Eden City complex in Maheshtala for allegedly calling up the Lalbazar Control Room number 100 and claiming that the city was going to witness a bomb blast. Cops said the accused, identified as Arkaprava Ganguly, was only trying to “have some fun” and that he was moderately “drunk” at the time of making the call.
