90% of WB’s active cases in Kolkata, Howrah

As many as 90% of the state’s active Covid-19 cases are from north and central Kolkata and Howrah, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday, directing the police to enforce a complete lockdown in select zones while the administration switches over to an aggressive “trace-and-test” mode to identify fever patients.
