Central team inspects Kol markets during 2-hr visit

The five-member inter-ministerial committee team (IMCT) started its Kolkata tour on Tuesday with a two-hour drive through several areas of south Kolkata. The team that left the BSF regional headquarters only at 3.45pm, travelled through Gariahat and took a stop at Santoshpur market to check how the lockdown and social-distancing norms were being enforced in the state. The market was totally closed.
