Kidney patient’s death shuts down MCH wards

The death of a Covid-19 positive patient has led Medical College and Hospital Kolkata (MCH) to shut down the male and the female medicine ward as a precautionary measure. Healthcare workers who had come in contact with the deceased are being identified. On Monday, the hospital had sealed the gynaecology ward after a patient had tested positive to coronavirus.
