Kolkata: VIP Rd hospital closes for disinfection

The 100-bed Charnock Hospital downed its shutters on Monday for a thorough sanitization procedure. The drastic measure to contain the spread of novel coronavirus came after a patient, who had undergone dialysis in the hospital, tested positive for Covid-19 and died later in another hospital. Five other patients, who underwent dialysis in the hospital off VIP Road, also later tested positive.
