Kid shot to teach 'defector' mom a lesson

Political vengeance touched a new low at Malda’s Manikchak when a three-year-old child was shot at because his mother had switched loyalties a day ahead of the panchayat board formation on Thursday. The profusely bleeding child was rushed to Malda Medical College and later referred to a Kolkata hospital with critical injuries.
