The Covid positivity rate in Bengal has slipped below the 8%-mark for the first time in just over eight weeks. With the number of daily fresh cases remaining stable in the past few weeks, the positivity rate got pushed down to 7.9%, first on Saturday, then again on Sunday. The last time it stood below 8% was on August 1.
