Armed gang strikes again at New Town Metro site

The construction of Metro work got stalled for the third time in last two months after an armed gang attacked workers and looted raw materials from the New Town station site on Thursday night. Earlier, work was suspended for days — first at New Garia and then at Phoolbagan — in June after local toughs laid siege at the construction sites and threatened the workers.
