Organs of brain-dead teen to save three lives

In death, 15-year-old Mallika Majumdar is set to infuse life into at least three critically ill patients in Kolkata on Friday. Declared brain dead at the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER), SSKM Hospital, health officials were able to find two recipients for Mallika’s kidneys and another for her liver. Efforts were on to locate a recipient for the heart till reports last came in.
