
No candidate about to appear for board exams should lose a year because parents could not afford to pay fees due to the economic situation following the pandemic, the Calcutta High Court said in an order on Monday. It directed schools not to prevent students from completing paperwork related to board exams and ensure that all steps are taken even if they have failed to pay their fees.
