Kol: Youth ends life as ‘girlfriend returns gift’

A 19-year-old youth, residing at Niranjan Pally in Regent Park, allegedly committed suicide after his girlfriend returned the gift that he had purchased for her. The incident was reported around 8.45am on Sunday. The victim reportedly hanged himself from the ceiling fan with a white cloth. “We had not found any injury mark, except ligature mark, that confirms suicide,” said DC (South Suburban) Biswajit Ghosh.
