Kolkata: Covid crematorium at Garden Reach

Birjunala burning ghat in Garden Reach has become the city’s third Covid-19 designated crematorium. According to Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) sources, it has been made operational as a full-fledged Covid crematorium over the past weeks following an outreach campaign that convinced locals this would not pose any health hazard.
