Kolkata: Man granted bail after 11 years

Wakil Qureshi, accused as a co-conspirator in a murder committed more than 11 years ago, was finally granted bail by the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday. Qureshi was granted bail till December 16 this year and directed by the bench of Justice Samapti Chatterjee and Justice Tirthankar Ghosh not to delay the proceedings before the trial court. In case he attempts to do so through unnecessary adjournments, his bail may be cancelled.
