From crowd management to health management, the job profile of private security guards at Durga Puja pandals will undergo a sea change post Covid-19 as they will serve as the first line of defence to ensure that people maintain social distancing and get screened properly. The deployment of private guards has been in vogue at multiple big-ticket Puja pandals like Tridhara Sammilani, Sreee Bhumi, Ekdalia Evergreen and Ballygunge Cultural for the last few years.
