West Bengal seeks UGC seal for Oct exam date

The state higher education department has requested the University Grants Commission (UGC) to extend the last date of conducting the final year/semester examinations in Bengal till October 18. The government has cited the suggestion from the disaster management department, which has advised not to hold the exam till end of September given the current Covid pandemic.
