Kolkata: Cellphones return to hosp Covid wards

From banning the use of cellphones at Covid wards to encouraging patients to call up home, city hospitals have made a complete turnaround in ward protocol in a span of six months. This is not only helping patients stay in a better frame of mind and hastening recovery, but also keeping relatives — many of whom are quarantined at home — informed about their treatment, say hospital officials.
