Hiland Park woman dies of burns, abetment case filed

The family of a 50-year-old counsellor on Saturday filed a police complaint against her husband following her death from severe burn injuries last Wednesday. Alokparna Mitra, who had helped save countless lives in India and abroad and was known for her work on internet addiction among children, was found with 90% burn injuries inside her flat in a posh condominium off EM Bypass on Tuesday.
