Kol dengue spurt: Incomplete high-rises blamed

Vacant and under-construction buildings at New Town could be responsible for the spread of dengue across the township, believe residents. Water has been accumulating at these sites that are seldom cleaned in the absence regular civic vigil, leading to a spurt in the mosquito-borne virus. A 29-year-old homemaker succumbed to dengue at New Town on Monday.
